The legend of Lalli is a commonly known story in Finland. It’s about a man who murders a bishop in the Middle Ages after he has abused his wife’s hospitality. This modern adaptation tells a story in the near future of a businessman who takes advantage of an old man and buys his land for his future real estate ventures. The old mans wife finds out and chases after the businessman, making sure no one sees the signed contract.
